Thomas H. Warden has been licensed as a California attorney since June 1971 with the California Bar (#49847). He worked his way through law school as a claims adjuster and had previously been licensed as a real estate salesperson in California prior to entering law school.

In 1970, he worked for the County of Los Angeles as a Deputy County Counsel assigned to the Trials Division with emphasis on condemnation, personal injury defense, real estate, leases, contracts and construction litigation.

In 1973, he went into private practice with two former Deputies County Counsel, representing the County of Los Angeles, Sears Roebuck and Company, State Farm Insurance Company, El Dorado Insurance Company, as well as a number of corporate and individual clients. Since 1973, he has developed a general litigation and personal injury practice involving serious injuries and wrongful deaths.

He has a comprehensive background in family law, which was also started in 1973, and has handled in excess of 6,000 family law matters on almost every aspect of family law, including dissolution of marriage, division of assets, cash flow analysis of community property assets, dependency cases, and child custody cases.

He has handled 26 jury trials to verdict and tried over a thousand court trials. He is experienced in all aspects of trial and family law and has worked extensively with forensic experts for accounting issues and appraisal issues involving many professional businesses.

He is experienced in the construction business, assisting in the development of two shopping centers, and also the management of shopping centers. He has represented many contractors and developers in various aspects of litigation. His practice includes Real Estate law, Corporate law, and Entertainment law.

He has been a family law mediator on the panel with the Los Angeles County Superior Court since 1998, handling mediations and settlement conferences for parties and counsel relating to family law cases.

Mr. Warden is known as, '' the lawyer's lawyer''.  He has been an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on motor vehicle and construction cases. He has been a private mediator on contract and business disputes, as well. Additionally, he handles estate planning matters, including wills and trusts, as well as probate litigation involving will contests and adverse claims to estates.

Personal Interests
Mr. Warden has additional interests in classic car and collectable automobiles serving as chief judge and regional chairman and has performed services as a Senior Concours Judge. He is active in sailing and sailboat racing, having been on the race committee for the Channel Islands Yacht Club since 2005, as well as participated in numerous races as a sailboat owner and crew member. He has served as Judge Advocate for the Channel Islands Yacht Club.  He was Commodore of Channel Islands Yacht Club for 2013 and Commodore for ASBCYC for 2016.
